In 1984, when I began my study of Chinese medicine, I was immediately fascinated by its mysteries and impressed by its effectiveness. I intuitively knew this time-honored system of medicine complemented my interests and values.

During the next 34 years, I came to recognize that an ongoing study of Western physiology was also necessary to better serve my client’s needs.  

Although these two medical approaches were developed thousands of years apart, both are based on an evolving understanding of systems, symptoms and observation.  The blending of these two diagnostic and treatment models is the foundation of my approach to wellness.

I seek practical solutions for my clients’ concerns by suggesting uncomplicated lifestyle changes. And, as an inveterate researcher, I consistently provide resources that are relevant to their issues.
